Bikram Beginner's Yoga

All Bikram fanatics love this class! This Hatha based series is suitable for all levels, incorporating 26 poses & 2 breathing exercised done in a room heated by infrared panels. The temperature can go up to 42 degrees Celsius. The class is designed to balance & strengthen the glandular system, improve blood circulation & the muscular / nervous system. This discipline is very popular too because it also helps to lose weight. Note: As with all authentic Bikram Yoga classes around the world, the class is taught via verbal instructions only, without demonstration. Listening to the instructions requires full focus and concentration and that becomes part of the physical meditation - an integral part of Bikram Yoga. Practitioners are expected to stay in the room throughout the entire session.
Bikram Expanded

Ready to step-up from the beginner's series? The 90-min class is an expanded version of the postures found in the beginner's class. New poses are introduced to prepare & strengthen the body for the advanced classes. Temperatures can go up to 42 degrees Celsius. This class is recommended for those who are already familiar with the Bikram Beginner's 90mins classes or have been doing hot classes for awhile.

DURATION: 90mins
The class focuses on deepening the postures from the Bikram beginner's series. Every class will have a different focus (e.g. hip opening, back bending, twisting, inversions, etc.) so it is never always the same. This class requires no advanced skills, but you should be comfortable practicing Bikram beginner's series.

Yoga in Iyengar style emphasize on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of yoga postures. It makes use of props, such as blocks, chairs, ropes, belts, wall, etc to aid in performing the postures. The props assist in correcting alignment especially to those with physical limitations, beginners or the elderly. This style of yoga practice holds the postures longer to achieve stability and further help in developing strength and flexibility.
Basic Iyengar

A typical class begins with a dynamic warm up sequence before embarking on specific drills that covers the 6 major categories of yoga postures - forward compression, backbend, traction, twist, lift & inversion. This is a great class to work on your flexibility! Gentle movements and longer holds help relieve tense and tight muscles, pain, and stuck lactic acid in the body. A great compliment for runners, swimmers, cyclists or weight-lifters.
Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga aims to attain balance between the mind and the body. By practicing Hatha Yoga regularly, you are able to achieve a fitter body and a stronger mind. Regular practice helps to increase flexibility and strength and at the same time helps to improve our focus and awareness to the things we wish to achieve. Hatha Yoga teaches us to be a calmer person through asanas, pranayama and meditation.

Vinyasa (translates to "flowing with breath") gives a smooth transition between poses and breathing exercises. It includes several poses without losing the focus on breath awareness. This class is usually more dynamic than other yoga styles.

INFERNO HOT PILATES


DURATION: 60mins/45mins
This is a Pilates class; not yoga. Using Pilates as a foundation & done in a heated room up to 38 - 39 degrees Celsius, the class is challenging yet essential for your body. The movements are low impact & will get your muscles burning from the amt of repetitions involved. Look forward to stronger muscles & a leaner body. Each class is never the same. Get pumped up with loud & high energy music, as you sweat & work your body hard!
Fire Barre


DURATION: 60mins
The class combines attributes of Pilates, Dance, and Functional Fitness Training. We incorporate small isolated movement to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporate upper and lower body movement to make every minute count.
